Q: Do you pick up donations?
A: Yes. However, due to the fact that we try to limit costs as much as possible, we reserve pickups for large items such as sofas, appliances, etc. We also only pick up in Richland and Lexington Counties and areas within a specific mile radius of our store.

Q: Why won't you take furniture with stains?
A: We resell all of the items that are donated to the ReStore, so we cannot accept items that are stained, torn, or broken, because they don't have a resale value.

Q: Are my donations tax-deductible?
A: All donations to the ReStore are tax deductible. We will give you a form to fill out and keep for your records. Please note: by law, we cannot assign a value to the items that you donate. You will need to consult an appraiser, or visit www.irs.gov for more information.
